Where we are starting

Our reporting area spans the 27 Michigan counties below. The school directory currently contains 20 verified profiles, beginning in Saginaw, Bay, Midland and Gratiot counties. It is a starting directory, not a complete inventory of every school or sport.

School pages connect our published stories and recorded games to official athletics resources. Empty results mean we have not verified and entered a result; they do not mean the school has played no games.

Sources and standings

The Tri-Valley football table is a snapshot of the league’s published Fall 2026 standings, checked September 19, 2026. It does not update automatically. Its source does not provide an update time, overall records or football tie totals. Missing values stay blank.

Other current conference standings are being verified. We do not pass off older tables as this season. League affiliations and divisions can vary by sport and season, so general directory membership is kept separate from verified sport alignment.

GLB’s calculated team records use only finals entered in the newsroom. They may be incomplete and are not official rankings or championship tiebreakers.

Original reporting and the archive

Existing story previews link to the full reports on glbsports.org. New stories are managed through the GLB newsroom. Outside reporting can inform an assignment, but an imported headline is not a finished, checked article.
